Article Title: Evaluating of Robotic Milking Performance in Turkey
by Erkan Gonulol

The introduction of robotic milking systems in Turkey is certainly the most significant technologic development in the dairy farms in a couple of years. For this reason evaluate of robotic milking performance in Turkey was aimed in the study. This paper makes also to be better understood the relationship between robot and management practices on milking performance. The data presented this paper was collected from all robotic farms in Turkey. These are 54 milking robots in 21 farms. The data and the results are follows; milk yield (27,1 kg/cow), total milk yield produced per robot (1384 kg/robot,day),number of cows that milked per robot (56 cows/robot,day), milking numbers (2,6 milkings/robot),refusal cows (3,4 cows/robot,day), failure cows (3,3 cows/robot,day), separated milk (22,2 kg/robot, day),amount of concentrate feed (244,7 kg/robot,day) and consume of concentrate feed per milk production (0,16 kg/kg). Results that were found in this study are similar to previous studies regarding robotic milking performance. It means just after couple years, robotic milking has been well adapted to dairy farms in Turkey.
