Article Title: Comparative Analysis of Standard and Non-Standard Finite Difference Schemes for the Logistic Equations

In this work the existence of numerical instability in the use of standard discrete models and the conventional denominator (h) is further exposed. The dimensionless logistic equation have been used to illustrate the immediate advantage of non-standard method by comparing schemes derive using standard and non-standard modeling techniques with the analytic solution. The non-standard schemes were found to preserve the monotonic properties of the logistic equation while the standard schemes and schemes with conventional denominator function(h) exhibit a considerable level of numerical instability. The results of the numerical experiments are illustrated with 3D graphs.
